We agree one problem worth solving and how we’ll know it’s solved: a metric, a baseline and a deadline.
Discovery · 2–4 weeksApplied AI company · London, UK
We advise, build and train. From your first AI strategy to custom models running in production, Quantum AI helps UK businesses put AI to work on real problems.
Services
Most AI projects stall between the slide deck and the server. We cover the whole distance, so nothing gets lost in a hand-off.
Work out where AI will pay off, whether your data is ready, and how to adopt it safely under UK rules. You get a roadmap your board can approve and your team can deliver.
Assistants that answer from your own documents, agents that handle routine work, and document AI that reads forms and invoices. All of it connected to the tools your team already uses.
When a general-purpose model isn’t accurate, fast or private enough, we fine-tune or build one for the job. We test it against a baseline, document it, and hand it over for you to own.

Our desktop app for Mac and Windows redacts names, addresses, NI and NHS numbers and more from Word, PDF and text files. Nothing is ever uploaded.
The model ladder
There are four ways to make AI work for your business, from simplest to most specialised. We start at the bottom and only climb when testing shows we need to.
Prompting
We use leading hosted models such as Anthropic’s Claude, with carefully designed prompts, examples and output checks. It’s the fastest route to value and often all you need for drafting, summarising and classifying text.
Retrieval-augmented generation
The model searches your policies, contracts or knowledge base before it answers, and cites where each answer came from. Your data stays in your systems and updates are instant, with no retraining.
Fine-tuning
We adapt an existing model on your examples so it reliably follows your format, terminology and judgement. Fine-tuning a smaller model can also cut costs and response times compared with a large general model.
Custom models
For specialised data, strict privacy or devices without a connection, we build compact models, for example by distilling a large model’s skill into a small one. You get the weights, an evaluation report and a model card.
Industries
Every regulated industry in the UK has its own expectations for AI. We design with those in mind from the first workshop.
Document checks, complaints triage and advice summaries that stand up to scrutiny.
MHRA · NHS DTACLess admin for clinicians, with a person always reviewing clinical content.
SRA · ConfidentialityContract review and due diligence that cites every source it relies on.
CMA · Consumer lawProduct content, search and customer service that scale with demand.
Edge · On-deviceVisual inspection and maintenance models that run on the factory floor.
ATRS · TransparencyCasework support that’s explainable to the people it affects.
How we work
Each step ends with something you can see and test, so you’re never paying for a promise.
We agree one problem worth solving and how we’ll know it’s solved: a metric, a baseline and a deadline.
Discovery · 2–4 weeksA working demo on your real data, tested by the people who’ll use it. Not a slide deck.
Prototype · 4–8 weeksWe harden the prototype: security, integrations, access control and, where needed, a fine-tuned or custom model.
Build · scoped per projectEvery release is tested against the baseline and against misuse. You see the results, including where it fails.
Runs throughoutDeployed in your cloud or ours, monitored in production, and improved as your data and needs change.
Ongoing supportWhat we stand for
Built in Britain. Measured before it ships.
Every model we deliver comes with its evaluation: what it’s good at, where it fails, and how it compares with the baseline.
The biggest model is rarely the best choice. We pick the smallest one that does the job well, so it runs faster and costs less.
Your data trains your model, not anyone else’s. We host in the UK where you need it and design for UK GDPR from the start.
