Advise

AI advice thatends in somethingworking.

We help leadership teams decide where AI will pay off, get their data and people ready, and put the right guardrails in place. Because we also build, our advice is grounded in what it really takes to ship.

Regulation, made practical

The UK has no single AI law. That makes it harder, not easier.

AI in the UK is governed by data protection law and sector regulators. We help you work out which rules apply to you and what to do about them.

Read our UK AI regulation guide

  • UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025New rules on automated decision-making have applied since February 2026. We help you set up safeguards, transparency and a route for people to challenge decisions.
  • Sector regulatorsThe FCA, MHRA, CMA, Ofcom and others each apply their own rules to AI. We map their expectations to your specific use cases.
  • EU AI Act for UK exportersIf your AI is used in the EU, the Act can apply to you. Some duties already apply, and the high-risk rules now start in December 2027 and August 2028.
  • StandardsWe can align your AI management with ISO/IEC 42001 and the NCSC’s guidelines for secure AI development.

Questions

Consulting FAQs

We’re a small business. Is this for us?

Yes. Many of the most useful AI projects are small and focused. A discovery sprint is designed to be affordable and to give a clear answer on whether AI is worth it for you.

Will you just recommend that we hire you to build something?

No. Sometimes the right answer is an off-the-shelf tool, a process change, or doing nothing yet. Our build-vs-buy advice is independent, and we’ll say so when buying is better.

Do you replace our IT team or work with them?

We work with them. We share what we build and document everything, and we aim to leave your team more capable than when we started.

Can you help with policies for staff using tools like ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. An AI usage policy is often the quickest win: it sets out which tools staff may use, what data can be shared with them, and how to check what they produce.

Is this legal advice?

No. We give practical compliance and governance support, and work alongside your legal advisers where formal legal advice is needed.
